Security vs. freedom is a reflection on the role of security, and more specifically of video surveillance in our society, developed at the 2nd inclusiva-net meeting: Digital Networks and physical space, which took place in Madrid at Medialab-Prado 3 to 14 March 2008. The project has a main section in which the protagonist is CameraMap, a geolocation application of surveillance cameras in Madrid, extended to other territories through google maps. Thus, anyone who wants to participate can serve as a sensor and can detect cameras. Camera map is accompanied by avideo-actionat the Plaza Mayor in Madrid, aninstallationat Medialab-prado, aforum of opinion, a section devoted to the legal&socialaspects, a campaign tocover your camera!!! and ahoneymoon photo-album.
